Fairmount Cemetery and Crematory
Linda, let me begin by saying this was a first time experience for me. Considering how overwhelming the restoration project is, your guidance and expert assistance, we have a good start. The major accomplishment has been the starting grant from the State Historical Society of Iowa. Once we complete the work for this first phase, our chance of continuing grants has been enhanced. The other major contribution you are responsible for is the grant applications that are still open and hopefully being considering. Fairmount Cemetery Restoration is just starting with much left to work on. My hope is our journey working together has just begun.
ILLOWA Sheet Metal Local 91, JATC
Linda provided us with several sources for grants, both locally as well as nationally. She met with us, determined our needs, and immediately provided us with some sources, then provided several more over the following weeks. She also was great in reviewing our grant requests, offering suggestions and ideas and lots of encouragement. We appreciate all she did and recommend her services – she knows what she’s doing!
