The DeWitt native completed her undergraduate degree in public relations from the University of Northern Iowa in 2020 and recently graduated with her master’s in communication brand engagement from Drake University. With two years of experience working for a federally qualified health center as a marketing and communication specialist, Kristina can compel internal or external audiences through effective storytelling. While with the organization, she helped with grant writing, grant research, social media marketing, event planning, website management, and design. With a passion for helping the community and seeing individuals thrive, Kristina found her way to Wastyn & Associates to aid non-profits in their mission.

Kristina recently moved back to her hometown of DeWitt with her husband, 10-month-old son, and 6 cats; they could not be more excited to be back in the area. Kristina has a love for sports, most importantly hockey and baseball, and plans to see a game at all MLB stadiums. In her spare time, you can find her reading, attending her nieces and nephew's Little League games, and joining sewing days with her mom and grandma.
