Wastyn & Associates empowers organizations by providing high-quality, personalized consulting services in grant development, fundraising, strategic planning, and board and leadership education. As a Grant Specialist, you will work with clients locally and across the country to strategize and write compelling grant applications to government, foundation, and corporate funders as part of a team of seven talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with nonprofit clients to understand their funding needs, match their needs with potential funders, and translate their ideas into persuasive grant applications.
Manage multiple grant projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and delivering high-quality, detailed work.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, maintaining regular communication and consistent follow-through.
Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of client work.
Qualifications:
Strong writing and research skills, with an ability to craft clear and compelling narratives.
Ability to handle multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
Passion for working with nonprofits and contributing to community impact.
Prior experience in grant writing or nonprofit work is preferred. We will train a candidate who has the right attitude and strong writing skills.
